He bends in the hush of ochre fever, caught in the carnal rigour of Weiss’s eye. The cobalt drapery spills behind his waist, neither modest nor ashamed, but a sea frozen mid-rupture—an ocean’s final breath congealed in pigment.
His body is an altar of offered skin: the spine a knotted procession of vertebrae, the shoulders bruised by light’s indifferent hand. Weiss’s brush devours him. Vermillion sweat slicks the hollow of his back, umber shadows nibble the swell of thigh.
There’s no penance here, no sanctuary. Only the raw choreography of a man’s anatomy at the mercy of oil and gaze. Each muscle a taut hymn of exposure, each stroke an unholy relic of flesh.
