About this Artwork
Nosferatu steps across a slate sky, his coat cut to jagged angles, his fingers hooked like fishing wire, the crescent moon a thin bruise in Prussian blue. The diagonal typography stutters across his stride, a chalked NOSFERATU that scrapes the night.
Rats keep pace under his shadow silhouette, a tide of plague and rumor. Albin Grau draws the nightmare lean, while Weimar cinema hums behind the frame: German Expressionism turned into poster art, all chiaroscuro and lithograph texture, built for 1922 and the silent film that F. W. Murnau steered through Prana Film.
