About the Artist

Swiss artist Eugène Samuel Grasset etched dreams into the everyday, twining myth and modernity through every curve. Born in 1841 Lausanne, Grasset became a pioneer of Art Nouveau, shaping the Belle Époque’s lush fever with stained glass, posters, furniture, and book design.

His works blossomed with sinuous lines, medieval echoes, and a reverence for craft that transformed ordinary objects into enchanted relics. Grasset sculpted nature’s restless pulse into ornament, where ivy tangled with womanhood and alphabets unfurled like vines.

In every poster and panel, he wove a vision of art as living organism, vibrant and irrevocably awake.
