The Edo-period woodblock sings with nishiki-e gradation: coral bleeds into apricot above hills rolled like sleeping beasts, while a teal mist-stream ribbons through jade terrain. Woven baskets heavy on blue-robed shoulders mark these figures as pilgrims tracing old Yamato paths. The thatched farmhouse anchors the composition, its umber roof echoing the foliage's slow combustion.
