Hair thickens along the forearms; claws rise as if to cast a sign learned in a grim grimoire hand. One limb shows russet human muscle that ends in a small hoof; its partner drags black caprine shag into a gray cleft.
Watercolor washes pool on the paper; iron-gall lines bite the margin beside quick German script. The folio works like field testimony, where demonology borrows workshop craft so the hybrid reads both emblem and specimen, a study pinned to pale ground rather than a whisper.
