Collage art is more than an assemblage of cut-outs. It’s a radical reimagining of form, narrative, and meaning. And these 11 artists all used it to challenge conventions, reframe perceptions and transform the world.

Madame Firefly is a spirited reinterpretation of the Orientalist narratives in operas like "Madame Butterfly" and "The Mikado". A firework lighting up the sky to ignite a playful revolt against the narrative constraints that once shackled her.
