About the Artist

Kamisaka Sekka, born in 1866 in Kyoto, was the visionary who revived the Rinpa school, blending traditional Japanese motifs with bold, modern design. His art transcended mere decoration, capturing the essence of nature with a vibrant, almost ethereal touch.
