In Autumn, Arcimboldo fuses orchard yield and vineyard wealth into a single visage: swollen pomegranates, knotted gourds, russet pears, and tangles of barley. The satirical mask suggests both carnival and caution, where nature’s bounty hints at mortality beneath its sheen.
Grapes cluster like jeweled eyes, chestnuts knot into a nose, apple skin blushes into flesh. Painted for the Habsburg court, the work brims with Mannerist exaggeration and scientific curiosity, uniting botany and parody.
On this Samsung case, the grotesque harvest face becomes a portable cabinet of curiosities, carrying late Renaissance wit into the rhythms of everyday life.
