About the Artwork
Mount Fuji broods in a swell of smoky breath, half-veiled by green monoliths—cedars so immense they crack the picture plane. Time drips like resin from the tree’s edge. The path winds forward, but the moment freezes: canopy above, pilgrims below, a sacred presence watching from afar. Each gesture folds into the mountain’s myth.
This is Mishima Pass, but it reads like a vertical incantation. Wind rises. Trees listen. The print on your case isn’t just woodblock—it's gravity defied. Hokusai’s lines stretch skyward, curving around the lens as though the camera itself were a second peak. Edo ink curves become digital armor.
You'll be holding a slice of travel, of awe, of imperial scale miniaturized. Where cedars do not lean, they loom. Where travelers do not wander, they endure. And Fuji, that ink-fanged stillness, waits, exhaling, slow and unreadable, dusted in ash-flecked gradient.
