About the Artist

Eugène Séguy, born in 1890, was the French polymath who turned entomology into a visual spectacle.

His pochoir prints transcended scientific illustration, capturing beetles and butterflies in vibrant Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Séguy's works weren't just depictions of insects; they were vivid celebrations of the natural world, merging precision with dazzling artistry.
