Artwork Description
In this monochrome desert of airless light, dead acacia trees rise in a valley between the dunes in the Namib-Naukluft Park in Namibia — like charcoal sketches scorched into eternity. Each limb fractures against the void, a relic of ancient drought where time hardened sap into shadow.
The cracked clay beneath them glows with the pallor of bone, its surface veined by silence. Here, the Namib becomes a theatre of extinction and persistence—matter holding its own obituary.
No horizon comforts; only the abyss of a sky too vast for prayer. The stillness complete, a fossilized chorus frozen mid-lament.
