Carolina Parrots - John James Audubon Samsung Case

$45USD

Audubon’s Carolina Parrots burst across this Samsung case in a riot of emerald feathers and citrus-bright masks, their beaks curved with mischief. These vanished birds once crowded riverbanks, filling southern skies with clamor and color. Here, their plumage remains electric, each wing crosshatched with ochre, cobalt, and jade, each gaze startlingly alive.

Branches knot around them like living scaffolds, echoing the artist’s obsession with movement, taxonomy, and natural theater. Rare American wildlife art fuses spectacle with scientific precision, preserving echoes of biodiversity lost to extinction.

This protective Samsung case transforms your device into a portable aviary, where 19th-century engraving, natural history, and environmental memory collide. Audubon’s illustration becomes both shield and shrine, carrying ecological heritage into modern hands.

Artist Biography

John James Audubon (1785–1851) was a self-taught French-American artist, ornithologist, and naturalist whose magnum opus, The Birds of America, remains one of the most revered works of natural history illustration. Born Jean-Jacques Rabin in Saint-Domingue (now Haiti), Audubon immigrated to the United States in 1803 to escape conscription. With a rifle, sketchbook, and a poetic eye, he spent decades traversing the American wilderness to paint every bird species in life-size, dynamic motion. His pioneering techniques—posing freshly killed birds with wire, rendering lifelike habitats—melded science and spectacle. Though marred by allegations of fraud and slavery, Audubon’s legacy endures, feathered in brilliance and contradiction.
