Édouard Bénédictus was a rare fusion of artistry and alchemy, a man who painted with chemicals and composed with color. Born in 1878, he moved effortlessly between worlds—chemist, composer, painter, and designer—leaving his imprint on both Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
