Shirtless, glistening and lubed for baptism. Gay grunge ballet caught mid-submersion, spine taut, shoulders lit like rebellion. His back lacquered flesh under mythic filtration. Body backlit, glistening, becoming architecture. Deltoid ridge to lumbar dip, an anatomical psalm lacquered in oil. But the skin lies. Beneath it: tulle frayed like bleached nerve, wrapping his submerged waist. Half-dead swan. Half-ruined sailor. The fabric flutters against brackish current, recalling both stage costume and shoreline refuse.
Around him: three selves watching, corrupted by motion blur, diffused chiaroscuro and aqueous rupture. Narcissus isn’t gazing. He’s being witnessed by former selves. Or possible futures. Gerhard Richter fogs the mirror; Caravaggio drags the man under. Like Swan Lake reversed: no Odette, just this boy pirouetting in his own murky psyche. A Baroque hallucination stitched from tulle and latex night sweats.
This is beauty liquefied, peeled and dipped in subconscious murk. Masculinity untethered from muscle. Gender unspooled from posture. It's body-as-question, temptation, invocation. Where every ripple distorts time, throbbing with desire.
