What you see isn’t myth, but its rejection: Arcadia after the curtain call, where youth has been posed like paradise lost in reverie. A place where Von Marées, that prussian melancholic, makes color function as distance. Sepia, sage, the pale wound of thigh against bark. Nothing is saturated. Dissolving volume into air-rind texture, brushing bodies into relic.
Three bodies flicker between erotic code and academic ruin. The gaze travels nowhere. A Greek echo filtered through 19th-century repression, and still it throbs queer. Too quiet to confess. Too symmetrical to ignore.
