Amphitrite - Raoul Dufy Phone Case
Couldn't load pickup availability
Amphitrite rises from Dufyโs aqueous carnival, her pale body traced in quicksilver lines, hair tangled like seaweed beneath cobalt sky. Sailboats drift, rigging sketched in haste, gulls scatter across ultramarine surf, a regatta dissolving into watercolor haze.
The horizon hums with schooners and brigantines, fragments of maritime allegory refracted through Fauvist fire. Every contour holds a decorative rhythm, echoing textile patterns and mural flourishes Dufy carried from Le Havre to Paris, from Impressionism into Cubismโs fractured tide.
Amphitrite, half-nymph, half-siren, becomes the pulse of myth itself: a 20th-century goddess balancing sensuality with modernist whim, her gesture both ancient ritual and French paintingโs playful reinvention. This phone case captures that moment: oceanโs breath turned into shimmering line.
