About the Wall Art
Fine Art Prints

Forget cheap reproductions and printable posters. Only the best will do. Velvety matte fine art paper (warm white, archival-grade, 200gsm) with bold, vibrant, non-toxic pigment inks.
High-definition print lab techniques give you sharper details, deeper saturation and true-to-life tones.
The matte surface keeps glare down and archival-grade materials mean the colors you fall for stay vivid for decades.
Framed Fine Art Prints

Your print arrives framed and ready to hang, so it goes straight from the box to your wall.
Chevron cut wooden frames make a timeless statement in three distinctive colors: black, white and natural.
Each frame is made of sustainably sourced FSC® certified European knotless pine, finished with ultra-clear perspex glaze that’s lighter than glass and shatter-resistant.
Float Framed Canvas Prints

Luscious artist-grade cotton canvas, hand-stretched and finely textured, gives every detail depth and precision. Its natural white surface catches light and color with striking clarity.
A precisely measured floating frame leaves a slim gap around the canvas, so it seems to hover with a sleek, gallery-worthy effect.
Your choice of a black, white or natural frame: all made from sustainably sourced FSC® certified European knotless pine.
Giclée Printing

Forget 4 color CMYK. Giclée layers up to 12 — alive with deeper shadows, richer highlights and multidimensional contrasts.
Pro-lab printing process helps art stay bold & breathtaking for up to 100 years.
Neo pigment, water-based inks are 100% non-hazardous and toxin-free. Meeting the strictest industry standards as defined by Oeko-Tex 100 safety applications, Residues Standard List (RSL) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.
About the Artwork
The goalkeeper is already airborne when you arrive. Gloved fists climbing toward a scuffed leather ball, rose-pink jersey pulled tight over his ribs, a cap clinging to his head. Ángel Zárraga worked on Futbolistas en el llano across four Paris years between 1924 and 1928, and the Mexican painter from Durango chose no stadium for it. He chose the llano: a scraped field at the city’s working edge, hemmed by smokestacks and a gasworks silhouette, an advertising board spelling half a word in vermilion that nobody will stay to read.
Three men share the grass in different states of grace. The forward in sea-green turns his back on us, white shorts catching the gray light. Below him a player in crimson has gone down hard, jaw clenched, one boot hooked skyward above maroon and indigo stripes.
Zárraga carried Cubist pressure out of Montparnasse into these faceted limbs, tipping the pitch upward like a tray. Interwar Europe made a cult of the athletic body. He answered with a wet ball held one second from falling.
