Description

Penfield's 1895 visual enigma graces this A5 spiral notebook, transforming your scribbles into a covert queer art gallery. The cover showcases a dapper bibliophile, engrossed in a saffron-hued tome, while two mischievous hares play audience. Penfield's revolutionary poster style whispers volumes through economical lines and flat color planes.

You'll relish the juxtaposition of the reader's earth-toned attire against the verdant backdrop, a sly nod to forbidden pastoral romances. This notebook isn't just for jotting; it's a conversation starter about fin de siècle coded art. Penfield's genius for slipping homoerotic undertones past Victorian censors is on full display. From the man's latticed stockings to his jaunty leaf-cap, every element invites deeper scrutiny.

Carry this pocket-sized rebellion and let your thoughts dance alongside Penfield's subversive symbolism. Perfect for the art aficionado, queer history buff, or anyone who appreciates the power of visual storytelling. This A5 spiral bound notebook turns every page into a canvas for your own coded masterpieces.
