Description

Reijer Stolk's 1943 woodcut "Head of Buddha" adorns this A5 spiral-bound notebook, transforming a practical writing tool into a meditative object. The Rijksmuseum-housed artwork graces the cover, its ochre hues contrasting strikingly with the ebony background. Stolk's precise linework captures the Buddha's enigmatic expression, inviting contemplation with each use.

This notebook merges functionality with spiritual symbolism. As you jot thoughts or sketch ideas, the Buddha's serene countenance serves as a visual anchor, promoting mindfulness amidst daily tasks. The intricate, wavelike patterns of the Buddha's ushnisha (cranial protuberance) draw your gaze, potentially sparking creativity or calming a busy mind.

Carry this fusion of Dutch printmaking and Eastern iconography wherever inspiration strikes. The durable spiral binding ensures easy use, while Stolk's art elevates your note-taking experience. Ideal for journaling, brainstorming, or capturing fleeting insights, this notebook bridges the gap between practicality and artistic appreciation.
