A lavender silk grip flashes cream diamonds of rayskin. Vermilion bands pulse down the scabbard like heat under lacquer. A teal cord loops loose and restless. Legend says a crow carried this blade from Ise Shrine to an emperor, so the courier turns thief and steals its own name back.

Plum blossoms scatter below in cream petals and verdigris dots, the first flowers of a Japanese spring. Now this Edo-period ukiyo-e woodblock print wraps a tough phone case, its inky blacks cut sharp against rice-paper cream.
