A fan, half-raised, shields her gaze as the harbor exhales its palette of ochre hulls and saffron-ribbed sails. Painted clouds convulse above Yokohama’s threshold—sunset, perhaps, or a cargo of longing.
Her embroidered kimono is an archive of blooms, spilt pigments and stitched stories catching the wind. The ships: traders of silk, of rumors, of postcards never posted.
