He entered the house of mirrors backwards. They told him to walk straight, to recite the script, to be still while they diagrammed his posture—but he came in spinning, laughing under his breath, wearing a cream suit tailored from the curtains of a razed colonial court. Stitched by a tailor who’d once fit corsets for smugglers. While his gloves were stitched from exile. With shoes that once belonged to an archivist who couldn’t lie. A red bowtie looping round his neck, taut and trembling. Blindfolded precisely—without apology. Not to conceal, but to reject witness.
The arrows don't pierce, but they're tethered. Not weapons, but tools of ritual triangulation. Each line a question he never answered aloud. Their arrangement intimate. Almost anatomical. His stillness completing their geometry.
That’s why they call him Pinpoint. A queer black outlaw who'll never explain how he manages to hold so still without ever stopping. Capturing hearts, cash and jewels wherever he roams.
