About the Artwork
Singing over the scruff of olive brush and cypress—gnarled, unquiet, whispering with crooked tongues against the vigor of Van Gogh’s brushwork. Yellow fields leaning hard into the grain of the sky, where indigo furrows in memories he couldn't unmake. Hills tilted, cracked, surging like thoughts spun too fast in a mind without brakes.
The paint pulses with emotional topography. Chromatic fields of ochre, teal, rust, sap green. Each hue a signpost, not of place, but of condition. A moment where house becomes haven and hallucination. Creating a portal for the world to warp and wave. Painted with the urgency of a man who saw eternity in each quivering stroke of life.
This phone case doesn’t frame a view—it encases a psychic geography, painted in 1889 when Van Gogh’s days were stitched from thorns and color. And when you touch it, carry it, pocket it—you’re participating in the unfinished story of a man who tried to stitch reality back together with color alone.
