Giddy Up frames a fairground carousel from the rear, four painted giraffe figures caught mid-gallop toward some horizon of confetti and steel struts.
A turquoise-glazed head anchors the left edge, its bulbous snout and ringed red eye recalling folk-carnival Americana. Beside it, a cadmium yellow giraffe rears in a crimson top hat, saddle-scarred and bolted to its pole, hooves cast in flat black rubber. Furthest right, a navy giraffe erupts in pink and yellow polka dots, its hindquarters thrust skyward as though leaping a fence no rider can see.
Behind them, a pink fuselage-shaped ride car noses forward under a canopy striped in poppy red, cobalt, and lime green. String lights sag between steel poles against an overcast midway sky, and the tiled platform below carries the scuff and shine of countless small feet. This is amusement park photography built on repetition and joy, a herd suspended forever at the gallop's peak.
