Two would be gods embrace without names, only urges. A Greco-queer light slathering them in the chiaroscuro syrup of gay myths and legends. As if Caravaggio took a lover in a dream and left the aftermath wet on canvas. Their bodies—one pale as smoke, one dark as drought—collapse into each other in a posture too sacred for sculpture. Haloed by brushwork that licks him into gold. And the crow? It watches. Judges. Beckoning you to join... if you dare.
The brush refuses finish. It gropes. It smears. It chokes on shadow. Slashes in emeralds and crimson bursts, palette as erotic throb. Fabric clinging to their thighs seems stolen from Dionysus’s soiree or Mercury’s drag closet.
This is not Baroque, nor Neoclassical. It is older than both: a Greco-queer invocation of flesh as altar and gaze as gospel. Myth repeating itself in the flash of hipbone. Power unarmed, beauty unashamed, skin unreadable as gospel.
