A white cat perches like a quiet sentinel on a ledge, its back turned, hypnotized by the geometry of the ricefields stretching toward the snow-cloaked silhouette of Mount Fuji.
Beyond the mullioned frame, the Torinomachi Festival spills across Asakusa’s winter-plucked plain in miniature—dots of procession and revelry stitched through farmland geometry and skeletal trees.
The sky is blushing: a vertical ombré from blood-orange dusk to ultramarine ink, compressing distance into dream. The interior is a separate world—tatami silence, plum-patterned wallpaper, and ceremonial textiles draped in still-life serenity.
