What can you only find in Bangkok? Let me just say, it’s a riddle, in a way: real but not physical; always changing, but somehow the same; here 1 minute, gone the next; replaced by ephemera you’ll never forget.

At the heart of this Silk Rodeo we find a Javanese court official. Standing tall in a stately portrait of blended memories from his time along the Silk Roads. Collaged from the annals of whitewashed content libraries that made his adventure hard to imagine.

Guest of Honour is a madcap mashup of gods, beliefs, and cultures. A spiritual blender set to high. A shout-out to the way gods and religions have been mixed and matched through history. A rainbow quilt of faith that's as motley as any crew’s ever been.

Here she is: the greatest Tayū who ever lived. Putting on a private show in this secluded wing of the Alhambra for a motley crew of gamblers and aristocrats. Servants and black sheep who've heard her myth and come to see for themselves.

Sometimes being lost is the first step in finding yourself. And in this otherworldly playground, amidst the cacophony of fantastical creatures and unimaginable sights, you will find a moment of pure wonder neither time nor reality can erase.

In this reimagined Conference of the Birds, I've threaded Farid ud-Din Attar's timeless allegory into the historical grandeur of the Alhambra. Picturing a world where us humans get the chance to speak with masters of the sky about life, love & the universe.
