This sparkling open wrap amethyst ring is perfect alone or paired with our amethyst stud earrings. Amethyst is said to be one of the most powerful and protective stones in the spiritual world. This semiprecious stone is often used for healing purposes and stimulates the mind. It is also the February birthstone.

Allpa's jewelry is made using sterling silver, adorning it with semiprecious Peruvian stones and also amethyst stones. Part of their jewelry is made with silver and electroplated with 24KT gold. Peru has a very ancient tradition of silver and goldsmiths dating from precolumbian times.
All their collections are entirely hand made and involve long hours dedicated to making jewelery of the highest quality by Peruvian artisans who work under fair trade conditions.

Fine jewelry should be removed before diving into a chlorinated swimming pool or before using household cleaners. Many of these cleaners contain ammonia, which can be too harsh for delicate gems or vintage jewelry. Chlorine bleach, another common household solvent, can pit or damage gold alloys.

Most colored gems can be cleaned with warm water, mild dish soap (no detergents) and a soft brush. A pulsed-water dental cleaning appliance and a soft, lint-free cloth can also be used.
Be sure to rinse your jewelry in a glass of water to remove cleaning solutions, since you risk losing loose stones – or even an entire piece of jewelry - if you rinse directly in the sink.
